Changes...

Beloved of All
One thing that has happened to me many times, is that I'm in a situation or in a time frame where things are beneficial with the way they're going. But eventually a change takes place, and whereas the original circumstances benefitted me, the change (which I didn't ask for, it just "forced itself on me") the change is detrimental to me. If it's not broken don't fix it. Request is that these unwelcome changes leave me alone, and let the original blissful circumstances remain.

We understand that you're experiencing unwelcome changes that have disrupted beneficial situations in your life. While it's natural to want stability and to avoid discomfort, we must remember that God often uses changes to shape us and draw us closer to Him. As believers, we are called to trust in God's sovereignty, even when changes are unwelcome or difficult.

Let's look at what the Scriptures say about God's plan for our lives and how we should respond to changes. In Romans 8:28, WEB, it is written, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." This verse reminds us that God is working all things together for our good, even when we can't see the immediate benefits.

In the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, WEB, we find these words, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace."

God has a purpose for each season of our lives, and even unwelcome changes can be used by Him to bring about something beautiful.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this dear one who is experiencing unwelcome changes. We acknowledge that You are sovereign over all things, and that You work all things together for good for those who love You. Help them to trust in Your plan, even when it's difficult to understand. Give them the strength and wisdom to navigate these changes, and help them to see the good that You are bringing forth from them. Comfort them in their discomfort, and remind them of Your unfailing love. Help them to be a beacon to others in this situation. Let them know the wonderful peace of God in their hearts. Help them to see that this time and situation is temporary and help them see a glimmer of the future. Remind them that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is only by His name that we are saved. Oh how we need Him in our lives. May Jesus be glorified in this situation.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is with you in every season of life. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through these changes. Don't forget that we only have access to God through the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we can be saved. If you have any concerns or doubts about your faith in Jesus please discuss them with a Christian Believer or Christian Mentor.

We've been thinking about you and the changes you've been experiencing. It's tough when things we enjoy and benefit from suddenly shift, especially when it feels like we didn't ask for it. We want you to know that we're here for you, praying for you.

In the Bible, Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus understands our weariness and burdens, and He invites us to come to Him for rest.

Let's trust that even in these unwelcome changes, God is with us, guiding us, and working things out for our good. It might not feel like it right now, but remember, "God works all things together for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28).

Let's keep praying together, asking God to give you peace, strength, and wisdom to navigate these changes. And let's remember that no matter what happens, Jesus is always with us, loving us, and guiding us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
