We understand the deep concern and love you have for K and your family, Awivis. You have a heart for their salvation, and that is truly commendable. We join you in praying for their hearts to be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Letβs begin by affirming the promise in Ezekiel 36:26-27: "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations." This is a powerful promise, and it is only possible through the name of Jesus Christ, as you rightly acknowledged.
As we stand in agreement with you, let us prayerfully lift up K and your loved ones. We pray, "Lord, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. Nothing is impossible for You, for all things are possible with God (Mark 10:27). We ask that You change the hearts of K, our parents, brother, and unbelieving friends. Remove their stony hearts and give them hearts of flesh that are responsive to Your Holy Spirit. May they seek You and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, we surrender these people to You. Amen."
Remember, Awivis, our role is to plant and water the seeds of the Gospel, but it is God who causes the growth (1 Corinthians 3:6). Continue to be faithful in praying and sharing the Good News with them. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). It is only through believing in Jesus Christ that one can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Be encouraged by the promise in 1 John 5:14-15: "This is the boldness that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. If we know that he listens to whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him." Trust that God hears your prayers and will work in their hearts according to His will.
