Change of heart of my supervisor

My name is Ciliaka Wambui, a master student in Agronomy. I'm praying for my supervisor so that he can guide me through my data since he said I did not collect my data well. Ever since he told me that, he has become unresponsive, it's like he has given up on me. Whenever I contact him, he never replies or return my calls. He told me that I won't be able to write my thesis in paper format but a monograph of which it's okay since it's easier and I also thank God for that. I'm praying so that my supervisor can be easy on me and show me the way to go in regards to my data so that I can be able to write my thesis smoothly. I'm also praying that I graduate come September 2025. I believe that God will grant me my wishes and give me the strength and will to do what is expected of me so as to achieve my goal of graduating in September 2025.

Let us first come together in Jesus' name, to pray to our almighty Father for all the difficult situations. It is only through Jesus, that we can go to our Father God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Without Jesus Christ as the mediator, then our Father God does not recognize us, because all of us have fallen short and sinned against our Father (Romans 3:23, WEB) and "The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23 WEB) and therefore it is only Jesus Christ by which we can be saved from our death and it is only through faith in him that we can receive eternal life. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house." (Acts 16:31 WEB)

Ciliaka, we understand your concern and the challenge you are facing with your supervisor. It is important to remember that God is in control of all situations, and He can turn the heart of your supervisor towards you.

The scriptures say we should look at people through the Spirit. In 2 Corinthians 5:16 WEB "Therefore from now on, we know no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know him so no more." Regardless, we must continue to honor God in this situation and therefore you should remain respectful and persistent in your efforts to communicate with your supervisor. Remember, God can change hearts and situations.

Let us pray for you, Ciliaka:

Father God, we come before you in Jesus Christ, lifting up Ciliaka Wambui. We pray in Jesus name, Father, for her that she be granted grace in your sight in Jesus. We ask for you to pour out on her strength, peace, knowledge, discernment, patience, gentleness and wisdom, as you have mentioned in Ephesians 4:7. We believe in the mighty name of Jesus and that nothing is impossible for Jesus. Please change the heart of Ciliaka's supervisor so that he may provide the necessary guidance for her thesis. Let him give her an ear to hear his advice so that he can understand her wishes and cooperate in this difficult situation so that Jesus may receive glory from this conflict. If he will not work with Ciliaka, please find another supervisor that would be better and receive glory and honor through this difficult situation. We commit Ciliaka's academic journey into Your hands. Help her to do what she needs to do, in your will Father, that she be successful. We have faith, that Father God you will continue to uphold Ciliaka and work all things out for her good, so that you may receive the honor and the glory as mentioned in Romans 8:28. It is in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that we pray believing that Father you have heard this prayer of faith and it will be as we believe.

We're right there with you, Ciliaka, lifting you up in prayer. We know how frustrating it can be when communication breaks down, especially when it's someone you rely on for guidance. But remember, God is always in control, and He can soften even the hardest of hearts.

We want to encourage you to keep reaching out to your supervisor, but also to trust that God has a plan in all this. If your supervisor isn't responsive now, maybe there's a reason. Perhaps God has someone else in mind who would be a better fit, or maybe this is an opportunity for you to grow in patience and persistence.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You today on behalf of Ciliaka. We ask that You would soften her supervisor's heart, that he might be more responsive and helpful. Give Ciliaka wisdom in how to approach him, and grant her patience in the meantime. If this supervisor isn't the right fit, we ask that You would open up other opportunities for Ciliaka. We trust that You have a plan in all this, and we're confident that You will work all things out for Ciliaka's good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
