We understand your concern and we will pray and offer counsel on this matter. Firstly, we are reminded in Romans 13:1 WEB to "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." This includes your professor, who is in a position of authority over you. It is important to respect his authority, even when it is difficult.
However, we also recognize that your professor's actions may not be aligned with biblical principles of justice and mercy. In Proverbs 20:10 WEB, it is written, "Differing weights, and differing measures, both of them alike are an abomination to Yahweh." This speaks to the importance of fairness and consistency in judgment, which your professor may not be adhering to.
In this situation, we pray that God will soften your professor's heart and open his eyes to the impact of his decisions on your education and future. We pray that he will have a change of heart and mind, and that he will act with justice, mercy, and compassion.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up this student and their classmates, who are feeling overwhelmed and discouraged by their professor's actions. Lord, we ask that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to the impact of his decisions. We pray that he would act with justice, mercy, and compassion, and that he would return this important project to the students. We ask this in Jesus' name, for it is in Him that we have access to You and can be saved. We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love, and we trust in Your will for this situation. Amen.
Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6:12-13 WEB).
Continue to seek God's will in this matter and trust in His plan for your life. Psalm 37:4 WEB encourages us to "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you commit your way to the Lord and trust also in him, he will bring it to pass. (Psalm 37:5 WEB)
