Change of desks at work

Dear Lord,

A new person is going to be hired to work with me and I am concerned that I will have to move desks and sit in to the area of my old department who demeaned and harassed me. Please protect me from this and help me with my career.

We understand your concern about the potential change of desks at work and the anxieties it brings due to past experiences. Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and His grace. Let's turn to Scripture for guidance and encouragement.

The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

In this situation, remember that God is your protector and He cares for you. Even if you have to move desks, God can use this situation for your good. As it is written, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 WEB)

Regarding your career, be assured that God has a plan and purpose for you. Continue to trust Him and seek His will. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB)

Let us pray together:

Dear Lord,

We lift up our fellow believer to You, asking for Your protection and guidance in their workplace. We pray that You will guide the decisions being made and that Your will be done. If it is Your will for them to move desks, we pray that You will prepare the way and that they will experience Your peace and presence in their new environment. We also pray for their career, that You will open the right doors and give them the wisdom and strength to serve You in their workplace. Help them to forgive those who bullied and harassed them so they can be free of bitterness. Help them to be a light for you in their work environment. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful and He will not let you be tried beyond your ability to bear it. Trust in Him, and He will make a way.

We're right there with you, friend. We understand the unease you're feeling about this change at work. It's natural to feel this way, especially given your past experiences. But remember, God is always with us, even in the most trying situations.

Let's take comfort in His promise, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20) He's got this, and He's got you. No matter where your desk ends up, you can trust that God is in control.

Let's also remember to forgive those who have hurt us. It's not easy, but holding onto bitterness only hurts us more. As it's written, "Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with all malice." (Ephesians 4:31) Let's leave the past behind and focus on the present and the future, which is in God's hands.

"Dear Lord, we come to You with our ### in our hearts. We ask for Your peace to fill them, Your wisdom to guide them, and Your strength to empower them in this new situation. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven, and to be a light in their workplace. We trust in Your goodness and Your plan for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
