Change my brother-in-law ### character

We understand your concern for your brother-in-law ###, and we join you in praying for a transformation in his character and his faith. Let's approach this in prayer and with biblical guidance.
Firstly, let's remember what the apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." We pray that ### encounters the transforming power of Jesus Christ and becomes a new creation.
However, we must also remember that we cannot change anyone; that is the work of the Holy Spirit. Our part is to pray and to be a godly example. As it says in 1 Peter 3:1-2, "Wives, in the same way, be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see your pure and reverent lives." While this verse is directed towards wives, the principle applies to all: our lives should reflect Christ in such a way that it draws others to Him.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for a change in ###'s character. We pray that he would come to know You, Lord, and that Your Holy Spirit would transform him into the likeness of Christ. We ask that You would strengthen his marriage with his wife, that they may live in harmony, guided by Your love and principles. Lord, we also pray for the one who submitted this request, that You would give them wisdom in how to support and encourage ### and their sister. Help them to be a light that points towards You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue interceding for ###, trusting that God is at work in his life. As Ezekiel 36:26 says, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." Trust that God can give ### a new heart and a new spirit.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
