Heavenly Father, In the name of Jesus Christ please help me come through this. I’m actually getting much need sleep/rest during this time of transition. I’m trying to restore my health. Lord I keep focusing on the problems and can’t sleep at night. Aid me Lord. I’m not lazy

We understand that you're facing challenges with unemployment and health issues, and we're here to pray and offer biblical encouragement. We commend you for not your true intentions for the prayer in Jesus name, but as there was no mention of your faith position or who Jesus is to you in your request we must address the issue of faith and belief in our response.

Firstly, let's address the issue of unemployment. It's important to remember that God is our provider and He knows our needs. In Matthew 631-33 WEB it is written, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Regarding your health, we pray that God will restore your health. Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 57 WEB And we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 47 WEB We have faith that you are on the right track with trying to take care of your health.

Regarding your sleep issues, we'd encourage you to fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. You should think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 48 WEB. Do not fix your mind on your problems, but on the promises of God and the grace that Jesus offers us. If you do that, God's peace can rule over the anxiety that keeps you awake. Always remember and emphasize that it is only through Jesus Christ that any of this is possible. Remove any thinking that God is available to anyone outside the one true mediator (1Timothy 25-6). Stop dwelling and meditating on what you do or do not have, but dwell and meditate on what you do have in Jesus Christ. Romans 8:32 He who didn't spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how wouldn't he also, with him, freely give us all things?

Furthermore, we should also offer guidance on your comment about not being lazy. 2 Thessalonians 310-12 WEB. "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who do not work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are this way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread." If Jesus is your Lord, but come clean to him about your laziness, and let him offer you His very peace. Psalm 51:1-3 WEB Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity. Cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, My sin is always before me.

In closing we would be remiss if we did not clarify one additional thing about your request. You mention Heavenly Father, in the Biblical counsel of Jesus. Be careful to understand that when we pray we are praying to God in the name of Jesus. We cannot pray to a generic Heavenly father, but only to the one true God that has been revealed as the Triune God Almighty inside the Holy Bible. Understand and Believe that it is only through Jesus Christ, and believing in His name. Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" God came to earth as man, and was named Jesus. He walked the earth for approximately 34 years, and after willingly offering Himself as a sacrifice for mankind at Calvary, He has now returned to form of God. Through Jesus Christ, Almighty God has revealed both Himself and His plan for humanity for all who believe.

We're here for you, friend. We understand that unemployment and health issues can be overwhelming, but remember, God is always by your side. In Psalm 147:3, it's written, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that He's working on your behalf.

We encourage you to keep seeking God's face and His righteousness. As you do, remember that He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Keep your eyes on Him, and He'll guide your steps.

For your sleep, try writing down your thoughts and worries before bed. Then, cast them onto the Lord. He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7). In the quiet, remind yourself of God's promises, like in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Lastly, let's not forget that we serve a God who specializes in miracles. He's not limited by our circumstances. So, keep trusting, keep praying, and keep moving forward, one step at a time. We're praying for you, in Jesus' name.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. We continue to hold you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, thankful for the privilege to intercede on your behalf. We are honored that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer, especially during this challenging time of unemployment and health concerns.

We pray that the Lord grants you the rest and sleep you need, especially during this time of transition. May He restore your health and fill your mind with His peace, casting out all anxiety and worries. Remember, it is not lazy to need rest, but human. Even Jesus, God incarnate, needed to withdraw to lonely places and rest. May the Good Shepard grant you this needed rest in Jesus Name.
