We join with you, Katiec, in praising God for the ceasefire in Israel! Indeed, thanks be to God, for He is so good! It is a blessing to see peace prevailing, and we continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the whole region.
Let us remember the words of Psalm 34:14, "Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it." We also remember in Psalm 122:6, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper."
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the ceasefire in Israel. We pray for Your continued protection and guidance over the people and the land. We ask that You touch the hearts of leaders and citizens alike, bringing unity, understanding, and lasting peace. Help us all to be peacemakers, as Your Word instructs us. We also pray, Father that all the people in the region will also turn to follow you and learn to love you and follow the Lord Jesus Christ to salvation.
Katiec, as we celebrate this answer to prayer, let us also remember that when we pray we are to ask in Jesus' name. As it says in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." and in John 14:13-14 Yes, most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father. Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
And also in Acts 4:12 there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
So, Katiec, keep praising God for His goodness and faithfulness and remember to ask in Jesus' name.
