Cause I am the only light at home

I come from a family that is obsessed with those Chinese God of the Buddhist/Toaist faith but I am the only one brought to the Christian faith. They believe what ever they are doing and worship to their God are right and that needs to be corrected as just as it bring them good luck , good money prosperous and they are successful. And their pai pai (carrying joss sticks and idol worship) to dead statue to the deceased and obey whatever tradition pass from the past can surpass God I was in that and am out of it but they are still in it thinking that those manmade things are the blessing from their God and refuse to know Jesus because they said it is the Western or "Ang mo(red haired)" God in Singlish only the western could pray together with superstitious and enquiry of the death through divination and shaking some sticks and a stick fell out of the container and they will use that stick to interpret the future, palm reading, horoscope reading, and offering food to the deceased (a common practice in the Buddhist/Taoist faith) as they known it as filial piety and carrying a gold chain of their idol and hang it on their necks, some even go to another extreme of eating vegetarian can save them but abstaining from meat. And pegan worship their God and burn the joss paper to their God to please them. VERY HARD to spread the gospel to them they know it but refuse to accept and they just believe in Karma and do good to earn merits.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We understand your burden for your family, Dexter2020, and we stand with you in prayer. It is commendable that you have found the light of Christ in a home that practices Buddhist/Taoist traditions. Remember, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" John 14:6 WEB.

Your family's practices, such as idol worship, ancestor veneration, divination, and superstitions, are against God's commands. As it is written, "You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol" Exodus 20:3-4 WEB. Also, "There is one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him." 1 Corinithians 8:6 WEB.

Their belief in karma and good works to earn merits also contradicts the biblical truth that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast" Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Dexter2020 and his family. We thank you it is only by your Sovereign Love and Grace that Dexter2020 has been drawn and delivered from idol worship. Dear God, we ask that You continue to reveal yourself to his family. Open their hearts to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We urge you Dear God to allow them to be receptive to the Gospel. Convinct them of their unbelief and the sin of following false gods and practicing idolatry. Help them to be able to turn away from darkness and idols and turn to truth and life and righteousness. Cast down the spiritual strongholds that keep them bound to their traditional beliefs. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform their lives. In Jesus' name, Amen

Dexter2020, we encourage you, as difficult as it may be, be patient and persistent with love and the sharing in the Word of God with your family. Pray continually for God to open paths for conversations about Him to begin. Your family and all non believers are always in our prayers. You do have the opportunity and capability to share God's Word with them and to be a living testimony. God is always with you to Comfort, Guide, and to provide the words to say. Continue to live worthily of the Lord so they may witness the life in you of Jesus Christ. God is faithful!

Lastly, It was not specifically mentioned in your request if you know for a fact that you are saved through faith in Jesus Christ as you dis closed you were the only one brought to the Christian faith. We must explicitly mention that we hope you realize it is only by belief in and committing to Jesus that any of us will have eternal life with God. If not, we would like to explicitly ask you to repent from the sins you have done and call out to Jesus as your Lord and Savior if you have not, so that you may have eternal life and freedom through God.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
