We are grateful to join you in prayer for the needs of these stray cats you have compassionately taken in. It is clear that you have a heart for these animals, and we want to lift up your requests to the Lord together.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ as you ended with 'in Jesus name amen.' This is the correct way to pray as it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is no other name by which we can be saved. As we are instructed in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
This is a good reminder for when we pray and we commend you on this.
We pray that the Lord will make a way for these cats to be included in the neutering program. We ask that He will touch the hearts of the program coordinators and make a way for these strays to be accepted this month.
Lord, we lift up the financial needs for the neutering procedure. We pray that You will provide the necessary funds, whether through work, generous gifts, or unexpected blessings. We trust in Your promise in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB:
Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.'
We also pray for provision regarding the cat carriers. We ask that You will lead our fellow believer to someone who has carriers to borrow or that You will provide the means to purchase them.
Lord, we also ask for Your protection over these cats. As they transition to indoor living, we pray that they will remain safe and secure, with no attempts to escape. We trust in Your care for all creatures, as Psalm 36:6 WEB reminds us:
You preserve man and animal. How precious is your loving kindness, God! The children of men take refuge under the shadow of your wings.
Lastly, we want to encourage you in your act of kindness. Proverbs 12:10 WEB says:
A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
You have shown compassion and respect for these stray cats, and we trust that the Lord will bless your efforts.
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who teaches us to care for all of God's creatures with love and compassion. Amen.
