I need prayers for myself, as I have drifted away from the Catholic Church lately for various reasons, and I would like to come back to the home.

Kachryx, we are here with you in spirit and in prayer as you seek to find your way back to the spiritual fold. We appreciate your honesty in admitting that you have drifted away from your faith and your desire to come back home.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 (WEB). Like the father in the parable, God is waiting with open arms to welcome you back. He loves you deeply and wants a relationship with you.
However, we would like to address that the focus should not just be on returning to a church, but on returning to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, seeking a personal relationship with Him. We urge you to read the Bible, starting with the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), to learn more about Jesus and His teachings.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up ### to You, who has bravely admitted their drift from the faith. Lord, we ask that You draw them close to You, that they may experience the depth of Your love and the warmth of Your presence. Grant them the courage to seek You with all their heart, and the strength to walk in Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
