Casting my worries onto Jesus

I humbly ask for your prayers as I strive to be more open and vulnerable with God and those around me. I feel a deep desire to share my heart and experiences, but I'm facing discouragement from others who advise me to keep my personal matters private. Please pray that I find the courage to express myself authentically while also discerning the right moments to share. May I be guided by God's wisdom and supported by loving connections. LillyAngel, we are here with you in spirit, lifting your concerns to our Lord Jesus Christ. You've expressed a deep desire to share your heart and experiences, which is commendable, as it aligns with the scripture, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16 WEB).

However, it's also important to discern the right moments and the right people to share with, as Jesus teaches us, "Don’t give that which is holy to the dogs, neither throw your pearls before the pigs, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces" (Matthew 7:6 WEB).

We pray that God will grant you the wisdom to know when and with whom to share, as well as the courage to express yourself authentically. Remember, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).

We also pray that you will be surrounded by loving connections, people who will support and encourage you in your journey. In Proverbs 17:17 (WEB), it's written, "A friend loves at all times; and a brother is born for adversity."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus Christ. As it's written, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14 WEB). It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up ###, asking that you fill her with your wisdom, discernment, and courage. Help her to express herself authentically and to share her experiences with those who will support and encourage her. May she be surrounded by loving connections and grow deeper in her relationship with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
