We understand your struggle with worry and sleeplessness due to financial concerns, Corhydek. We want to remind you of what the Bible tells us about worry and trusting in God. Jesus said, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:25-26 WEB).
First, we want to lift you up in prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Corhydek. Lord, they are feeling overwhelmed by worries about money and bills. Please comfort them and remind them of Your promises. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Provide for their needs, God, and guide them to be a good steward of the resources You've given them. Help them to remember that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you, Corhydek, to shift your focus from your worries to God's promises. Trust that He knows your needs and will provide for you. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Whenever you feel worried, surrender those feelings to God in prayer.
Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
