Carrying the heavy burden.

Jesus was carrying a heavy burden on His shoulders and He fell several times on the way to Calvary. Simon Syrene was chosen to help Jesus carry the patibulum, so heavy to carry along the way while people watched Him do this. He saw lots of women weeping and wailing. He said.

Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, weep for your yourselves and for your children.

Jesus full of love and compassion on those who had a broken heart and were full of sadness of what they saw, told them the truth. He knows the future, He knows what it is coming to them.

Lord, this load is too heavy for me to bear.
I looked around for help and no one came.
I asked for mercy on my life,
No one approached me.
Then I called on the Lord.
Who is worthy of all praise.
He whispered so tenderly to my heart.
This was not yours to hold.
I will take that away from you.
The stillness of His love.
Overflowed all over me.

Turn your burdens over to the Lord. He will take care of you.
