Thank you for your heartfelt prayer request, which is filled with care and compassion for others. It's wonderful to see your desire to serve others with God's agape love and we are pleased to see the name of Jesus was included in the closing.
Let's firstly address the prayers about the care for others.
For the work and interventions, we pray that God will equip you with wisdom, love, and skill. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Working with this mindset will ensure that your work reflects God's love and brings glory to Him.
For your interactions with patients, supervisors, staff, colleagues, and the owner, we pray for favor and wisdom. As it is written in Proverbs 3:3-4 WEB: "Let not mercy and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man."
Regarding your daughter, we pray for her protection and favor. It is great to see you are praying for other Christian connections. Isaiah 54:17 WEB tells us: "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness which is of me," says Yahweh."
For protection from evil, we stand on God's promises. As written in Psalm 91:11 WEB: "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."
We praise God for His faithfulness to you and your family.
Rebuking: We see that the request is thorough and biblical. We do have a concern that the list of scriptures at the end could be seen as using scriptures as a formula for success rather than using scriptures for guidance. Please be mindful of this. Remember that the Bible is God's revealed Word to us and should be treated as such and not a list of promises that we can call upon for our choosing.
Finally, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Your servant and their family and work. Grant them the adequacy to care for others with Your agape love, and let their interventions be successful. Prepare the hearts of those they serve, and help them not to forget Your teachings. Grant them favor with patients, supervisors, staff, colleagues, and the owner. Help them to perform their duties with poise, self-assurance, assertiveness, empathy, and professionalism.
Lord, we also lift up their daughter. Protect her and grant her favor. Close the doors that lead to harm and open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections. Deliver them from all evil, surrounding them with Your hedge of protection.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. For it is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. Amen.
