We join with you, Sparklee, in lifting up your cares and concerns to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we find rest and comfort. As it is written in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."
Firstly, we pray for your work and those you care for. May all your efforts reflect God's agape love, and may He grant you successful interventions, prepared hearts, and a remembrance of all that is needed. As you serve, remember the words of Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."
We pray for favor with your patients, supervisors, staff, colleagues, and the owner. May your words and actions be seasoned with salt, and may you perform with poise, self-assurance, assertiveness, empathy, and professionalism, just as Proverbs 16:24 tells us, "Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones."
Regarding your future private practice, we pray for wisdom and guidance. May the Lord direct your paths, and may His will be done, as promised in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
For those you've mentioned—CK, AK, MR, CS, SL, SE, SW, and MB—we pray that God would give them encouraging and needed words. May they be built up in their faith and strengthened in their walks with the Lord.
We also lift up NH, praying for favor, joy, hope, and purpose. May the Lord surround her with His hedge of protection, deliver her from evil, and draw her close to His presence, as promised in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Sparklee and their concerns. We ask that You guide their work, grant them wisdom, and draw them and those they've mentioned closer to You. Let Your will be done in their lives, and may You receive all the credit, glory, and praise. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
