I pray in hopes to find a career at a job I applied for as a stevedore.

We understand that you are seeking a career as a stevedore and have applied for a job in this field. It's commendable that you are taking steps to provide for yourself and contribute to society. Let's bring this matter before the Lord in prayer and seek His will for your life.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God has a plan and purpose for each of us, and He wants us to succeed in all that we do.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, says Yahweh. Then you shall call on me, and you shall come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13 WEB

However, we want to encourage you to align your desires with God's will. Instead of focusing solely on the job you applied for, pray that God's will be done in your life and that He would guide you to the career He has planned for you.

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB

We also want to remind you that success is not merely about achieving material wealth or prestige. True success is found in a right relationship with God and in living out His purposes for our lives.

But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 WEB

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up this individual seeking a career as a stevedore. We pray that Your will be done in their life and that You would guide them to the career You have planned for them. Give them the wisdom to trust in You and to follow Your leading. Help them to see that true success is found in a right relationship with You and in living out Your purposes for their life.

We also pray that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, if they do not already. Help them to understand that it is only through Jesus that we have access to You, Father, and that there is no other name by which we can be saved.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life and to trust in Him to guide you to the career He has planned for you.

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
