O Lord show me mercy! I am praying for a decent stable job. A career breakthrough. For ### years now I have been looking. I have ### degrees, multiple certifications, yet I haven’t been able to land a job successfully. I have been carrying this to the fire altar and today I want to leave it here. If you see this pray with me that I too I testify of God’s goodness in this area. Thank you. I get shamed and treated as a lazy person yet only I know how hopeless this situation makes me feel, knowing I have been searching for this long. God knows I am at loss of words to describe what is going on. Lord breakthrough

Dear anonymous, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life in Jesus' name. You have been diligently seeking employment for eight years, and we acknowledge your efforts and the pain you've endured. We remind you of God's promise in Isaiah 43:18-19 (WEB): "Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister/brother who has been eagerly seeking employment. Lord, You know the struggles and shame they have faced, but we declare that their breakthrough is coming. We ask for Your mercy and favor upon their job search. Open the right doors and align them with the career You have purposed for their life. We rebuke any spirit of hopelessness or despair and proclaim that they are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37). We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."

We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that His timing is perfect. Remember, God has a purpose and a plan for your life, as declared in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB): "’For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

Lastly, ensure that you are not only bringing your requests to God but also aligning your heart with His will. If you have not already, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is through Him that we have access to God's blessings and eternal life (John 14:6).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
