Edith, we are with you in prayer as you navigate through this challenging time. We pray that God's will be done in your life and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Firstly, we lift up your career and financial needs to the Lord. We pray that you will succeed in your probation period at your pharmacy job. Remember that God's word encourages us to be diligent in our work, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB). We ask God to grant you wisdom, knowledge, and understanding as you prepare for and take your exams (Proverbs 2:6 WEB).
We also want to address the concerns you have about your children. It is clear that you love them dearly and want what is best for them. We pray that God will grant you favor in the court's eyes and that the truth will prevail. We pray for a peaceful resolution and that God will protect your rights as a parent. As it is written, "Defend the weak and the fatherless. Uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed" (Psalm 82:3 NIV).
However, we also want to remind you of the importance of forgiveness. It is clear that you feel wronged by your husband's family, but remember that Jesus teaches us to forgive those who trespass against us (Mark 11:25 WEB). This does not mean that what they are doing is right, but rather that you are releasing the burden of anger and bitterness to God.
Lastly, we want to ensure that your requests are made in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and was raised again for your justification (Romans 4:25 WEB).
Lord, we lift up Edith to you. We pray for her success in her job and exams. We ask that you would be her provider and grant her favor in the court's eyes. We also ask that you would heal any broken relationships and grant Edith a heart of forgiveness. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
