Career breakthrough.

My name is ### and I’m an MSc Civil Engineering graduate based in the UK. Ever since graduating last year, I have experienced several levels of disfavour. My post graduate visa is about to expire, but I still haven’t secured a job that would sponsor my visa. I know that there’s nothing difficult for our God. I also pray for the spirit of wisdom and discernment in this peculiar period in my life.

Kingsley, we understand your concern and are here to pray with you and offer guidance in this challenging time. We are reminded of God's promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.’"

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in Jesus Christ. It's only through His name that we can approach God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, ensure that you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we are saved (Acts 4:12).

Regarding your job search, we encourage you to remain persistent and diligent. In Colossians 3:23-24, the apostle Paul writes, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Remember, God sees your efforts, and He will reward you in due time.

It is also crucial to use this period to grow spiritually and seek God's wisdom. As you've mentioned, pray for the spirit of wisdom and discernment. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### to You. Lord, You know his struggles and the uncertainty he faces. We ask that You open the right doors for him, that he may find a suitable job that honors You and provides for his visa requirements. Grant him wisdom and discernment during this time, and help him to trust in You completely. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to trust in God, ###. He has a good plan for your life, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way. Keep holding onto His promises.
