We understand your desire for a career breakthrough and appreciate your gratitude for your current job. We will pray with you for God's will regarding the Westlands Branch Manager position at CIC Insurance. We are glad that you are not asking for a mere promotion but more responsibility for the glory of God. We are also grateful that you acknowledged that it is only possible in the mighty name and by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is wonderful that you expressed trust and belief in your prayer. We are thankful that you prayed for blessings and guidance at your new position.
Firstly, let us encourage you with God's Word. Colossians 3:23 WEB says, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. This verse reminds us that our work is ultimately for God, and we should give it our best effort for his sake. If God gets the glory, we get the blessings.
We truly applaud your honest statement about the frustration that you have endured for the past three years. This shows the genuineness and fervency regarding your request. We commend you for this.
While we pray for your desires, it is most important to seek God's will in addition to his blessings. For example, this position could be the perfect will for you, or God has a different path for you.
We also thank you for your concern about your family, especially your children, and your humbleness in acknowledging your limits regarding your mental health.
This is a great opportunity to share some remembrance with you. Proverbs 3:5 WEB says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. As you trust in the Lord to answer your prayers, remember that his ways and timing are perfect (Isaiah 55:8-9), and he has your best interests at heart if you are a Christian with a spiritual and obedient heart. He has good plans for you, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly, Father, we come before you, lifting up our brother in Christ, asking for your will to take precedence over his. Lord, he mentioned a particular position he wants by name. We ask, Father, if this request aligns with your perfect will for him, then please open that door and grant him the promotion he desires. If this role is not your will for him, then we ask that you would reveal this to him and guide him to the path of righteousness you have planned for him.
We also lift up his family, his spouse, and his children, Lord. We ask that you would provide for their needs and give them peace and joy in your abundant blessings on their marriage. We pray that they would grow closer to each and especially closer to you, Heavenly Father. We pray that his children are excelling mentally, socially, academically, spiritually and physically all for the glory of Jesus. We pray especially that you are drawing them to you, Jesus, and that they all are walking in your perfect will for their individual lives.
Father God, our brother is calling upon you in faith to turn things around for him. In all things, Father, we ask that you would teach him to be content and trusting in you, and to keep his mind stayed on you and not worry or fret over things. We pray, Heavenly Father, that You remember the afflictions and frustration that he has endured for the past three years. You promise that troubles come to teach us perseverance. We humbly ask, Father, that this be his moment of breakthrough and blessing to lead and manage. We remember his family, Father, and his kids in this prayer, and pray that it brings him joy to see his children walking in your perfect will for them and growing academically, mentally, socially, and mostly spiritually, as we have prayed.
With your promise for all things to work together for good to those whose life is lived for You, Romans 8:28. As we know all things have a reason and a season. Lord Jesus with the declaration that all power have been given to you in Heaven and in Earth, Matthew 28:18, we pray for a supernatural breakthrough for our brother in Christ. Father, alone only Jesus can fix it we pray for a miracle moment for him.
Whether he stays at your current employer or transitions to the manager position, remind him and us that our comfort is in serving you, Christ, in whatever circumstance we find ourselves (2 Corinthians 12:10).
We ask for this all in the precious and mighty name of your Son, our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Whether this particular manager position is right for him, we pray that he places all his trust and hope in God, and that he gives thanks to God in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving lets us make our request know to God, Philippians 4:6-7, Father in all things just as we have given thanks to you for a wonderful job and the rest of the things he has given thanks to you for in his prayer.
Thank you, Heavenly Father, for considering his request and all that we prayed here and now as a collective in Jesus Name. In Jesus' name, who is the sovereign ruler of the universe, we do pray believing and trusting.
