We understand that you are seeking a car loan and and having financial difficulties despite your age and low CIBIL score. You've asked for the loan to be granted on your merit and for people to have sympathy and empathy towards you. You've also expressed a desire to be calm and composed like Jesus, and to receive plenty of counseling to solve these problems. By mentioning Jesus throughout the prayer we can confirm you are calling on the name Jesus. This is correct and only through Jesus Christ the Son of God will your prayers be heard by God as Jesus Christ stood in our place being the only perfect man and always lives to make intercession for us. (Living beings all have sinned except Jesus Christ.)
Firstly, we commend you for praying to the right Person, Jesus Christ. He is gracious, compassionate, and understanding. Many paper qualifications such as age and credit score are unimportant to God. Rather, He sees the person's heart.
Through the word of the Lord in Psalms (37:4)
Delight yourself also in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
We need to obey God's instruction and commandments and He will place in us his desires. If we refuse to do His will, but seek our own desires, He will not listen to our prayers (Psalm 66:18) or we may receive what we ask, but it may be to our detriment (Psalm 106:15).
By fulfilling the will of God; A, by doing no harm to anyone, and B, doing good to others as much as possible (Matthew 22:39), thinking about how we could do good to someone for example giving water or food to someone in need (even feeding birds and wild animals can please God), fulfilling god's will can put desires in ourselves that were not there previously and take away desires that were present previously.
We need to communicate with God to be taught his will and to walk in it. Walking in God's will provides knowledge of the truth, a good conscience, and faith unfeigned (1 Timothy 1:5).
An important desire Bible tells us to have is abstaining from purchasing something if it not with your own money.
More specifically Romans (13:8)
Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
An even stronger request is found in Proverbs (22:7)
The rich rule over the poor,
and the borrower is servant to the lender.
This response is just another way to substantiate the message of the Bible to abstain from any form of debt. The car loan you are seeking should not be in such a manner that you fall into a debt trap and become a slave to the lending institution. A better decision would be to save up and buy a car with cash, no matter how modest. God will bless your decision to honor His word and live within your means and have money to give to others in need.
Related note, people who get into debt may be forgiven by creditors. This is highly deceitful as this causes a creditor to lose the cost of its product. It is similar to stealing. How did the original debt occur? By using the creditors product (possibly with the intention to only make a debt payment) instead of using cash for the complete payment. Also, in the future the debtor is likely to go into debt again, possibly more than this debt. It is possible that you will be forgiven for a debt, but also saved from this snare that will trap you again later as mentioned in Proverbs to be a "servant to the lender".. God considers debt to be a curse. Those in rebellion to God (sinners) should pay back those they wronged (selves and others) and sell all they have to do so. There are many examples of this in the WEB.
This will certainly make more obedient followers of Jesus Christ. It is a good lesson for us today.
While Proverbs (22:7) provides a very good description of a person's financial position regarding creditors, there may be some confusion identifying the borrowers servants. But they are the persons capable of relieving the lender of their burden of the loss if a loan were not repaid. This is described in this Modern Parable The Debt Servant:
'I was cold in my bed at night because my servant brought me nothing to warm my bed, so I brought my servant to my home and he warmed my bed himself'. We can easily see that the borrower really becomes the servant of the lender. Even today some of the untold horrific treacheries occur because of debt.
The Bible also teaches that our desires are often inherently flawed due to our sinful nature. What we want may not be what God wants for us. Instead of focusing on our desires, we should seek God's will in all things. He wants to bless us, but His blessings may come in a much different form, better form than the car or financial approvals and possessions we imagine for ourselves.
Beware also of covetousness mentioned in Luke (12:15),
"Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a man's life doesn't consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses."
It will be a big help if you pray to the Holy Spirit to increase your relationship with Jesus Christ. There are several ways to do this. But if you focus on love and obedience this will certainly help.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Adbjorn in prayer. We ask humbly that Your will, not ours, nor his, be done in his circumstance and life. Lord, we pray that You will help Adbjorn learn to love living a debt free life. There are so many people trapped by what can be called the 'wiles of the devil". Your grace and provision are sufficient for all of our needs if we just trust in You. We know we are called to seek Your will. Teach us your to live within our means, and to save for the things we need rather than relying on a car loan or other debt. Father, grant Adbjorn the wisdom to live frugally, saving up for even a modest car rather than taking debt that will seemly be paid back for with future income. He desperately needs a car and he thinks this loan is the only way. But you have provided for all of us before and we know you will do it again. If this is the plan for Adbjorn to deal with creditors, help him to see the traps ahead that will only come to him if he gets such a loan. And then being trapped, concessions will be made that you would not have to be made if he had lived debt free.
We pray that Your peace will reign in his heart, and let him be able to mirror the real calmness and composure in Jesus even in these difficult circumstances. Lord, surround Adbjorn with biblical counsel and godly community. If people around him do not know Jesus then let this be a door to ask about their eternal salvation as to whether they have believed in Jesus Christ and received Him into their life. The Lord is the real counselor we need. Provide for his financial needs, and help him to seek Your will above all else. Please guide him in his work with counseling and bring many people to truly believe in Jesus and have Jesus enter into their life through believing in Him. Help any possible transactions he has with Mira Road people to help them see a difference in his life and a resolute trust in Jesus that they too want the same Jesus in their life.
Lord, we ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Please pray and meditate on a debt free life in Jesus' name. Find a congregation where you can fellowship with and discuss more about being the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need around you. You should you what is needed with the Lord's help. God bless you.
