We are truly sorry to hear about your ordeal, Acdrarik. We are thankful that you are safe and were able to come home. The trauma you experienced is real and it's not uncommon to have nightmares after such an event. We are glad you are a Christian and are praying. We will join you in prayer, but first, let's remember what the WEB says in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
During times like these, it's important to remember that God is with us, even in our pain and suffering. In Psalm 34:18, it's written, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Also, remember that in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." This doesn't mean that what happened is good, but that God can use it for good in your life.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus. We lift up Acdrarik, who has been through a traumatic experience. We thank you for protecting their life and for bringing them home safely. We pray for your healing touch, Lord. We pray that Acdrarik can sleep peacefully, free from nightmares. We cast all their anxieties and worries on you, Lord, because we know you care for them. We pray that you will use this experience for good in their life. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."
In addition, consider seeking professional help if the nightmares persist. There are godly counselors who can help you process what happened and navigate this difficult time. Also, reach out to your local church community for support. Remember, you are not alone in this.
Lastly, keep praying and trusting in God. He is faithful and He will see you through this. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for the Lord your God himself who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
