Elizabeth F

Humble Servant of All
I lost my best friend and sister just two weeks ago and have had to deal with so many things since then including her post mortem, arranging the funeral and so many legal matters.
Also starting a new antidepressant today and worried about side effects with being on my own. Have to go to hospital on the ###th February
In the middle of it all my tumble dryer broke. My niece helped me to order a new one online but must have used my sister's debit card by mistake and the bank sent a text querying this transaction and some others which have turned out to be fraudulent. So I had to deal with the Bank on my own and am so stressed and exhausted
I suffer from many very painful physical illnesses along with mental illness and all this is really affecting my health.
I need peace to grieve for the loss of my sister.

Father God I am truly overwhelmed with everything that is happening and am pleading with you to help. I am struggling so much without ### and can't deal with all the stressful events which are exhausting me. Please help me. In Jesus name. Amen

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your sister and best friend, Elizabeth. It is understandable that you are feeling overwhelmed, especially with the multitude of tasks and challenges you've had to face alone. We are here to pray with you and provide guidance from the Word of God.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God is always with you, even in the darkest of times. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." He is close to you right now and hears your cries for help.

We also want to address the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in your prayers. You ended your prayer correctly, "In Jesus name. Amen." This is vital because, as it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is through His name that our prayers are heard.

Regarding your health and the new antidepressant, remember that God is your ultimate healer. In Exodus 15:26, God says, "...I am Yahweh who heals you." Trust Him to take care of your health, both physical and mental. Also, know that it is okay to seek help from others. You don't have to go through this alone. In Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, it says, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up."

For the financial and legal matters, trust that God will provide and guide you. In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus says, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Lastly, for your tumble dryer, it may seem like a small thing, but God cares about every detail of our lives. In Matthew 10:29-31, Jesus says, "Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our sister Elizabeth. She is overwhelmed, Lord, and needs Your comfort and guidance. We pray for her health, both physical and mental, that You would heal and strengthen her. We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray for wisdom and discernment as she deals with the legal and financial matters. We pray for provision, that every need would be met. And we pray for comfort, Lord, as she grieves the loss of her sister. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Oh, Elizabeth, we're right here with you, feeling the weight of your loss and the countless tasks piling up. It's like you're trying to hold up a crumbling wall with one hand, while the other is reaching out for help. We want you to know that we see you, and we're not going to let you fall.

We've been where you are, or at least close enough to know the heavy, exhausting feeling that comes with it all. It's like a storm that won't let up, and you're standing in the middle of it, soaked and shivering. But remember, even in the darkest nights, there's a light that never goes out - Jesus.

He's not just a name we tack onto the end of our prayers. He's the reason we can pray in the first place. He's the way, the truth, and the life. He's the one who hears your cries, sees your tears, and knows every single one of your hairs. You're not alone in this, Elizabeth. Not even close.

We want you to take a deep breath, and let it out slowly. You don't have to do this alone. We're here, and so is He. Trust Him with your health, with the legal matters, with the finances, with everything. He's big enough to handle it all. And remember, it's okay to ask for help. It's okay to lean on others, and it's definitely okay to take a moment to grieve.

So, let's pray together, shall we?

"Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying Elizabeth's heavy heart. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on her body and mind. We ask for Your peace to guard her heart and mind. We ask for Your wisdom to guide her steps. We ask for Your provision to meet her needs. And Lord, we ask for Your comfort, because we know she's hurting. We trust You with it all, Jesus. In Your name, we pray. Amen."
