I either need some miracle to be able to leave or he needs to treat me better. I've been sick for three days and he keeps calling my at home demanding I do work that I'm too sick to do and in ways that make it harder, not easier or not at all til I'm better.

Firstly, we want to remind you of what the Apostle Paul said in Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Even in difficult circumstances, we are called to work as unto the Lord, knowing that He sees our efforts and will reward us accordingly.

However, it's also important to set boundaries and communicate effectively. In Matthew 18:15 (WEB), Jesus teaches us, "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother." While this verse is about personal offenses, the principle of open, respectful communication can be applied here. You may need to have a honest conversation with your boss about your boundaries, especially when you're not feeling well.

Let's pray for guidance and wisdom in this situation:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling in their work environment. Lord, we ask that You grant them the strength to endure, the wisdom to know what to say, and the courage to say it. We pray that their boss's heart would be softened and that he would treat them with kindness and respect. We also ask that You open doors for new opportunities if it's Your will for them to leave this job. In the meantime, help them to work as unto You, knowing that their reward comes from You alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord. Remember that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28, WEB). This situation, though difficult, can be used by God for your good and His glory. Keep persevering, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58, WEB).
