Elizabeth F

Humble Servant of All
I am completely overwhelmed with everything bad which is happening in my life.
I suffer from many physical illnesses including Fibromyalgia which causes excruciating pain which affects my mobility and sleep
Also Crohn's Disease which causes stomach and tummy upset.
I have to care for my sister Margaret since she came home from hospital three weeks after being treated for severe diverticulitis.
I do this willingly asvI love her but it is taking a real toll on my health. I am so unwell and exhausted and honestly don't know how much longer I can carry on like this.
I have reached out for help from others but, apart from my niece who shops for us and comes out once a week to help with any chores needing done,I have to do all the cooking , cleaning and laundry etc.
I am also really worried about Margaret as she still has diarrhoea and is very weak.In the middle of it all my antidepressant is being changed and I am really worried about side effects. Especially with looking after Margaret
Also I have to travel far from home on the 18th February to have surgery to remove a biliary stent removed. At the moment I don't feel well enough to go and can't leave Margaret as there is no one else to care for her.
I am just so exhausted and overwhelmed and can't go on like this.

Father God I come to you completely worn out due to so many trials which are badly affecting my physical and mental health. I am really worried about Margaret, the change of medication and upcoming surgery. Your word says you are "a very present help in times of trouble" and Jesus said "Hitherto you have asked nothing in my name. Ask and you will receive that your joy may be full So I ask you to heal me and Margaret and make us happy for the first time in many years. In Jesus' name Amen

Elizabeth, we are here with you in spirit, lifting you and Margaret up in prayer. We recognize the tremendous strain you're under, and we want to remind you of God's promise: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB).

Firstly, we commend you for your love and dedication in caring for Margaret. This is a true demonstration of Christ-like love, as Jesus told us, "This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you" (John 15:12 WEB).

However, we want to remind you that God does not want you to carry this burden alone. It's important to seek help from your church community, as they are the body of Christ and should be willing to help bear your burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB). If they are not aware of your situation, we encourage you to reach out to your church leaders or members for assistance.

Regarding your health, we pray for God's healing touch upon you and Margaret. "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). Remember, God is able to do abundantly more than all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).

We also want to address the concern about your upcoming surgery and Margaret's care. Trust that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. He promises never to leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). We suggest reaching out to your church, friends, or family to find someone who can temporarily care for Margaret while you have your surgery.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Elizabeth and Margaret. We ask for Your healing touch upon their bodies, that You would restore their health and give them the strength they need to face each day. Lord, we ask for a hedge of protection around them, and that You would guide them to the help they need during this difficult time. We ask that You would go before Elizabeth, making straight her paths, and guiding her every step of the way. We pray that she would feel Your love, peace, and comfort, and that her heart would be filled with joy, knowing that You are always with her. We pray that Margaret would also be filled with Your peace and comfort, and that You would bring healing to her body. Lord, we ask that You would raise up help for them, that their needs would be met, and that they would be surrounded by a loving and supportive community. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Elizabeth, know that you are not alone. We are here praying for you, and we encourage you to keep trusting in God, knowing that He is faithful and will see you through this challenging time. We will continue to keep you and Margaret in our prayers.

We're here with you, Elizabeth, holding you and Margaret up in prayer. It's overwhelming to carry so much on your own, but remember, God never intended for us to bear our burdens alone. He's right there with you, ready to give you rest (Matthew 11:28).

We admire your dedication to Margaret, but it's crucial to lean on your community too. Reach out to your church, friends, or family for help. They can assist with chores, care for Margaret temporarily, or just be there to listen and support you.

We're praying for healing and strength for both you and Margaret. Trust in God's ability to heal and provide (Ephesians 3:20). He's got this, and He's got you.

Let's keep praying together:

Dear Lord, we lift up Elizabeth and Margaret to You. We ask for Your healing touch on their bodies, restoring their health and giving them strength. Guide them to the help they need, Lord. Protect them and fill their hearts with Your love, peace, and comfort. Make Elizabeth's paths straight and guide her every step of the way. Raise up help for them, Lord, and surround them with a loving, supportive community. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

You're not alone, Elizabeth. We're here praying for you both. Keep trusting in God, knowing He's faithful and will see you through this challenging time. We'll keep you and Margaret in our prayers.

First I just want to say I can relate 100%%% I have similar diseases and I promise there is hope. Like it says "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds,"โ€”JAMES 1:2 I know it's easier said than done..

โ™ก Lord Jesus I pray, that you remind Elizabeth (beautiful name) that you remind her that the bright side of being broken he often reminds us that Jesus will restore us. So Jesus remind Elizabeth that you hold her in your hands and even in storm shes lovedโ€”I'm Not crying :')

What we see a may be broken now but it is a chance for Jesus to make things new. I claim it in Jesus' name it's gonna be okay. Lord, I pray you make her new. Because I know Jesus will comfort you. Jesus remind her of restoration and faith. I know it's going to be okay. Break all of her chains. Heals Margaret. Lord God I pray that you work through doctors as they operate on her. Luve her presence daily. If she hadn't accepted you Christ and come to cross I pray she is made new in your love, grace and mercy Jesus. I pray they spend the rest of the year happy and painless. Amen ๐Ÿ™ ****
