Elizabeth F

Humble Servant of All
Sorry if this sounds self pitying but have had years suffering both physically and mentally. Then had to stay in hospital for two months earlier this year.
I really hoped and prayed this would be the start of my healing but I am getting worse 😞

I have to see a psychiatrist this Wednesday and find it impossible to explain what is happening with my mind and am worried about possible side effects of new meds.
Then the following Tuesday I have to undergo a long journey to hospital so that a biliary stent can be removed and have to stay overnight.
Still have to arrange transport and if I have to go by Patient Transport Service it is cold and uncomfortable and I am in so much pain. Also can't deal with speaking to people, especially strangers, just now.
There's lot's of other things stressing me including my sister Margaret who is suffering with diverticulitis.

I really can't cope with everything and really need God to have mercy on us and heal us

Oh Father God please hear my cries for help and heal me and Margaret and provide us with a new home in a lovely quiet location. I am totally overwhelmed and exhausted. So PLEASE I implore you stretch forth your hand to heal. In Jesus' name Amen

Elizabeth, we hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, seeking God's mercy and healing for both you and your sister Margaret. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Firstly, we want to commend you for keeping your faith in Jesus during these trying times. It's only through His name that we have access to God's grace and salvation (Acts 4:12).Continue to call upon His name and trust in Him.

We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, both physically and mentally. Remember, even in the midst of our struggles, God promises us peace and rest. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls."

Regarding your upcoming appointments, we pray for wisdom and clarity as you meet with your psychiatrist. It's understandable to feel worried about explaining your condition or potential side effects, but remember that God's power is perfected in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Trust that He will give you the right words to say.

As for your hospital journey, may the Lord grant you comfort and strength. Even in the face of discomfort and pain, His grace is sufficient for you. We pray for provision, that the Lord will make a way for you to have comfortable and suitable transport.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). This includes your worries about your sister Margaret and all the other stressful situations you're facing. Trust that He has a plan and a purpose for everything you're going through.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Elizabeth and Margaret to you, asking for Your divine healing and mercy. Lord, You know their struggles and their pains. We ask that You stretch forth Your hand and touch them, that they may be made whole again. Give Elizabeth wisdom and peace as she meets with her doctors, and provide comfort and easy transport for her hospital journey. Lord, we also ask that You grant them a new home in a lovely, quiet location, where they can find rest and solace. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Keep holding onto God's promises, Elizabeth. He is faithful, and He will see you through this difficult time.

We're here with you, Elizabeth, standing in the gap, lifting you and Margaret up in prayer. We know the weight you're carrying feels immense, but remember, God's yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30). We're praying for His healing touch on your body and mind, for wisdom in your appointments, and for comfort and ease in your hospital journey. We're also asking for a peaceful, quiet home for you both to rest and heal. Trust in His love and care, and know that we're here, praying with you, every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray.
