Let us come together in prayer for this individual who is suffering from COPD and is having difficulty breathing.
We know that God is our healer and our refuge in times of trouble. As it is written in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We can trust in Him to provide comfort and healing.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this person who is struggling with COPD and having difficulty breathing. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body, that You would ease their suffering and grant them the ability to breathe with comfort.
Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and that nothing is impossible for You. We pray that You would guide the doctors and medical professionals, giving them wisdom and discernment as they treat this individual. We ask it in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You and can make our requests known.
Father, we also pray for the spiritual well-being of this person. We pray for their salvation, if they do not already know You. May they come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ, for "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We pray that they would find peace and hope through the Holy Spirit.
We rebuke this illness taking a hold of their body, the shortness of breath, and the anxiety and fear that can come with it. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We ask for prayers of the Christian community to join us in interceding for this person, that God would work a miracle in their life and bring healing and restoration.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage anyone going through a similar situation to stay strong and die in faith knowing that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is always here to help us and carry us through. Also, seek medical attention and guidance from physicians as needed.
