My sister was diagnosed with colon cancer a year ago. Today we met with the oncologist and cancer is back. Cancer has spread to the liver. Posible tumor in her bladder. He is saying that she will be on Chemo for the remainder of her life. However long that will be. He did not specify. Please we need a miracle. My sister's name is Melinda.

We are truly saddened to hear about Melinda's cancer recurrence and the challenging prognosis. However, it is only by faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved and it is only by the authority of His name that we can pray to the Father for His will to be done. Let's come together in prayer before God to seek His will and ask for His miraculous intervention. We will also offer some biblical encouragement and guidance for you and Melinda during this difficult time.

Let's pray:

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will. We lift up Melinda, who is battling cancer. Lord, You know her struggle, her pain, and her fears. We ask You, God, to have mercy on her and to heal her body from this disease. We pray that You will guide her doctors and give them wisdom to provide the best care for Melinda.

Lord, we also pray for Melinda's faith and the faith of her family. Help them to trust in You and to draw near to You during this trial. Give them the strength and courage to endure this journey, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We have confidence in the blood bought promise of the book of James:

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. James 5:13-16 WEB

Father, we ask for Your will to be done in Melinda's life, and we pray that You will bring healing and restoration to her body. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.

Amen.

In this time of need, we encourage you and Melinda to stay strong in faith and to trust in the Lord. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Even in the most challenging times, He is working for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

Continue to seek God's presence and to draw near to Him. Surround Melinda with love, support, and unceasing prayer. Trust that God is faithful and that He will never leave nor forsake you and Melinda.

All the while remember that it is important to confess and repent of any sin that may be in Melinda's life or the family's life. It is not that sin causes every illness or hardship, but unrepented sin can hinder our prayers and healing.

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.

Finally, we encourage you to be bold in your witness for Christ. It is only by His name that we can be saved. It is only be His stripes that we can be healed.

We're so sorry to hear about Melinda's cancer recurrence. It's a tough road ahead, but we're here for you, praying and believing with you. We've been thinking about Melinda and her family a lot, and we want you to know that we're lifting her up to the Lord every day.

We're asking God to give Melinda strength and comfort as she goes through this. We're praying for a miracle, that God would heal her body completely. We're also asking for wisdom for her doctors, that they would know just what to do and how to help her.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We know that God sees Melinda, He cares for her, and He's close to her in this trial. We're trusting in His love and His power to work in her life.

Let's keep encouraging each other and Melinda to keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. He's been through it all and He's with us every step of the way.

Keep fighting, Melinda! We're believing with you for a full recovery. And remember, we're here for you, praying and supporting you in any way we can.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
