We are truly sorry to hear about the trial you are facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this. We will stand with you in prayer and belief that God can heal and work all things out for good.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign, and He is able to do abundantly more than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). God is able to heal your husband completely, and He is able to use this situation for His glory and your good (Romans 8:28 WEB).
However, we must also remember that our days are numbered by God (Job 14:5 WEB), and He has appointed us to live and die according to His will. Even in the face of death, we can trust that God is good and that He will be with us through it all. As it says in Psalm 23 even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4 WEB).
We also want to encourage you to seek God's will in this situation and to trust that He knows best. God may choose to heal your husband completely, or He may choose to use this trial to draw you both closer to Him. Either way, we can trust that God is good and that He is working all things out for our good and His glory.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear sister and her husband. We know it is only by the name of Jesus we have access and can be saved. Lord, You know the pain they have been through, and You know the fear they are facing now. We ask that You will be with them through this trial, and we ask that You will heal her husband completely. We trust Your will, Father, and we ask that You will use this situation to draw them both closer to You. We ask that You will give them strength, peace, and comfort in the days ahead, and we ask that You will be glorified in all that they do. We pray for that CT scan to come back with no further progression. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Take comfort in the words of Jesus, And whatever things you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive (Matthew 21:22 WEB). Trust that God is able, and believe that He is working all things out for your good.
