Thank you so very much. I pray God’s Blessings Upon us all!We are truly saddened to hear about your brother Dan Lewis's stage 4 cancer diagnosis, Finrim. Let us stand together in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort for him.
Firstly, we remember God's promise in Isaiah 53:5 (WEB), "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." It is through the stripes of Jesus Christ that we can seek healing for Dan.
However, we also acknowledge that God's ways are higher than ours, and sometimes His plan includes walks through difficult valleys. In such times, we cling to His rod and staff for comfort, as described in Psalm 23 (WEB).
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for Dan Lewis. Lord, You know his struggle and pain. We ask that You comfort him, give him strength, and grant him full healing according to Your will. Be with the doctors, guide their hands, and give them wisdom. Ease the hearts of his loved ones and let Your peace that transcends all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We also pray, Lord, that Dan and his loved ones would draw closer to You during this time. That they would know the hope that comes from Your presence and the salvation found only in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Finrim, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for Dan, as James 5:16 (WEB) tells us, "...The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results."
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved." If Dan or any of his loved ones do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we strongly encourage them to seek Him and accept His gift of salvation.
