We are deeply saddened to hear about the illness of Loreto Patoc Sr. and we join with you in prayer for his healing and comfort. We stand in faith, believing that God can heal and restore him, and we ask for God's will to be done in his life.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is the ultimate healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise for Loreto Patoc Sr., trusting that God is able to heal him from this cancer.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors treating him, that they would have insight into the best course of treatment. If it is God's will for him to undergo chemotherapy, we pray for strength and endurance for his body to handle the treatment. In James 5:14-15, it says, "Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the assembly, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith should heal him, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
However, we must also remember that physical healing is not guaranteed in this life, but we have the assurance of ultimate healing and restoration in heaven. We pray for Loreto Patoc Sr. to have peace and trust in God's plan for his life, whatever that may be. In Romans 8:28, it says, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
IJN, we pray for a miraculous healing, that the cancer cells would be eradicated, the tumor would shrink, and the pain and inflammation would subside. We ask for God's protection over his body and mind, and for spiritual strength and comfort during this time. We pray for peace and comfort for your family as well, that you would trust in God's goodness and faithfulness, no matter the outcome. Also, we must not forget to pray and ask for protection for his soul from the evil one.
Finally, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's face and trusting in His goodness. Spend time in His Word, and pour out your heart to Him in prayer. He is faithful and He hears your cry. In Matthew 18:19, Jesus said, "Again, I tell you truly, that if two of you on the earth agree concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." We join with you in agreement for healing and comfort.
