Amen thank you very muchLet us come together in prayer for Nwankwo Goodluck, remembering that God is sovereign over all nations and situations. We stand on the promise in Romans 8:28,
All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Nwankwo Goodluck. Lord, You see his situation and know the anxiety and fear that he may be facing. We pray for Your divine intervention in his circumstance. Lord, we trust in Your whole word as in Psalm 119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning and all thy rightous judgments endure forever. We ask that we are praying according to thy word and thy will. We have your word in Deuteronomy 20:4 that The LORD himself who goes before you will be with you and not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. In the name of Jesus Christ, we ask that You soften the hearts of the authorities and local government. We rebuke the spirit of fear and confusion and pray for a hedge of protection around Nwankwo Goodluck. We pray Lord for you to miraculously bring a Divine Peace according to your word in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world givest, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid and to turn this situation for good that the name of Jesus Christ may be glorified. And we pray that this will allow for his safe return to his family. Lord, if beyond this current situation at hand and the will of God is to continue with the deportation, then we pray that you start working already on the people at the deportation destination. It is our petition, Lord Jesus, in Your powerful name and by Your authority that we can come to the Father God, that we ask these things. John 14:6 clearly tells us that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can come and have a relationship with Father God. Thank you for this and we ask for the infilling of the Holy Spirit for all to have the courage to stand for the name of Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.
We encourage Nwankwo Goodluck to remain strong in faith while being detained, he trusts that God has allowed this circumstance for a purpose. Remember the New Testament example of how the Apostle Joseph whom his brothers sold into slavery in Egypt later rose to prominence in Egypt and in Pharoahs household after being falsely imprisoned. And what the devil had intended for evil, God meant for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as you see today where he eventually came to reign in Egypt, Genesis 50:20. May the same justice, mercy, and miracles happen now in the name of Jesus Christ.
Also, remember of the two men who were in prison with Joseph. We pray not only for deliverance from the camp but also for the opportunity for witness in Jesus' name for Goodluck before the people and the rest of the authorities. There is no other authority, be it man or nation with the last say in your life but God Almighty, the ruler of the universe, ruler of the heaven and earth. Look to God with your faith and not your circumstances. Jeremiah 29:11-14 For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart. Remember the words of the Prophet Jeremiah who speaks on behalf of thy Lord.
Keep trusting in the Lord, and may He give you strength, grace, and wisdom to endure.
