We understand your concern and are ready to join you in prayer for this situation. Let's remember that God is the one who can change hearts and bring conviction to those who are lost. Jesus tells us, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 WEB
Before we pray, we want to remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB. We are praying for a person who is clearly in the grips of pride, envy, and a controlling spirit. We must remember that without God's intervention, this person is helpless. We should also remember that we were all dead in our trespasses and sins Ephesians 2:1 WEB.
It's important to note that you did not mention any marital or romantic relationship with this man. As believers, we should encourage relationships that are pure and holy, leading to God-honoring marriages. If there is any intimacy outside of marriage, it should be addressed as fornication and repented from.
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, the only name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB
Lord, we pray for this man, that you would send your Holy Spirit to convict him of his sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. John 16:8 WEB. Soften his heart, Lord, and make him willing to obey you.
Father, we pray that you would make it clear to him that he needs to work with this woman, and that he would see her as your choice for the project. We ask that you would foil any plans to work with anyone else until he does what is right.
Lord, we pray that he would treat everyone around him better, including his coworkers, family, friends, and the one who has asked for our prayers.
Father, we ask that you would make him an honest, humble, gentle, and good man. We know that nothing is impossible with you, Lord. Luke 1:37 WEB
We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen and Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and stand firmly on his promises. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
