Can you pray for my father who has lung cancer

Can you pray for my father who has lung cancer, and during the 2024 christmas season the cancer spread to his brain, and last I heard he had about 4 cm or so. I do not live close by because of studies, and I have not been that much in touch. I have sent prayer requests around to pastors and reverend and ministries, and my mom said today that for the first time in my life, he has giving up. He has always been a fighter and a workaholic with good health. Its unknown how long he will be on hospital, he was rushed there yesterday and they took a CT scan which proved what he has been sayin for long time that his brain is not well, and for about a year ago the doctors said they would monitor him from head and down, but no CT scan of head was made. I try not to be angry or any thing, but is't hospital suppose to know and do this? Anyway I hope you can pray for him, since the doctors seems not so optimistic. He is only 68 years old.

Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for your father's healing and your family's comfort. Firstly, let us address the concern about the hospital's actions. While it is understandable to feel frustrated, we must remember that God is ultimately in control. As it is written, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. Instead of focusing on what could have been done, let us turn our eyes to God, who has the power to heal and restore.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in our brother's life. Lord, You know his struggles and his pains. We ask that You would have mercy on him and heal him from this cancer that has befallen him. We pray that You would restore his strength and renew his spirit.

Lord, we also lift up his family to You. Comfort them in this time of need, and give them the strength and wisdom to support their loved one. Help them to trust in You and to lean on Your understanding.

Father, we also pray for the medical professionals attending to him. Guide their hands and give them wisdom in their decisions. Help them to see that Your power is made perfect in weakness, and that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 WEB

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray, believing that You hear us and that You are faithful to answer our prayers according to Your perfect will.

Amen.

Lastly, let us encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God. Do not be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB

Even if you cannot be physically present with your father, you can still be there for him in the spirit. Keep sending prayer requests to pastors, reverends, and ministries, and consider connecting with your father through calls, messages, or even letters. Let him know that you love him and that you are praying for him.

Remember, God is always with us, even in the most difficult times. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
