Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Abdullah Ibraheem. Lord, You are the source of all truth, and Your Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (Psalm 119:105). We ask that You guide Abdullah as he searches for truth, and that You reveal Yourself to him in a powerful and unmistakable way.
Father, life can indeed be tough, and we know that You understand our struggles and our pain. Your Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 that You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles. We pray that Abdullah would feel Your comforting presence in every moment of difficulty, and that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also pray for Abdullah's happiness, both in this life and in the life to come. Your Word promises in Psalm 16:11 that in Your presence there is fullness of joy, and at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Help Abdullah to find joy and satisfaction in You, regardless of the circumstances he faces.
We ask that You strengthen Abdullah with Your mighty power and fill him with hope and assurance of Your love. May he come to know the depth of Your love, as described in Ephesians 3:18-19, and be filled with all the fullness of God.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
