Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today on behalf of Anonymous, who is struggling with an addiction that has lasted for over a decade. Lord, we know that You are a God of mercy and grace, and that You have the power to break every chain and set the captives free.
Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We ask, Lord, that You provide Anonymous with the strength and the way of escape from this addiction.
Father, we also remember the words of Psalm 107:13-14, "Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke away their chains." We cry out to You now, Lord, asking that You bring Anonymous out of this darkness and break the chains of addiction.
Lord, grant Anonymous the peace that surpasses all understanding, as described in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May Your peace guard Anonymous' heart and mind as the battle against addiction continues.
We pray for wisdom and discernment for Anonymous to seek the right help and support, and for the courage to take each necessary step towards freedom. Surround Anonymous with loving and supportive people who can help in this journey.
In Jesus' mighty and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
