Hi everyone,

A friend of mine has been tormented by an evil, demon's spirit.

my friend is completely blind by the devil, whenever I share and spoke about Jesus and how we need him and he will fill our heart , and give us a strength

can you please pray for a friend of strenght to overcome sin, he always got districted and unable to understand or participate of what I am talking about ( even though he had a knowledge of christintly and he had been to church for more than 10 years inconsistent , I thought he is just lukewarm Christian).

At first I thought maybe it’s my fault that I don’t know how share my faith in a simple way,
One day I was sharing with him that Jesus helped me to recover when I was sick , I said to him “ it’s only Jesus, I haven’t done anything to recover and help myself, it’s only Jesus” then my friend suddenly kind of laughing/ trying to make fun of what I’m saying,
I did not undersatand why,as I was not saying something funny, so I asked him why is funny, he said “ oh nothing, it just the way you keep saying repeatedly, it’s only Jesus”, it ended the conversationand I was quite confused by his reaction.

I also thought the way my friend always act and behave weirdly it’s related to his mental health issues ( past trauma, depression, etc) . That’s why his heart is not ready to surrender fully to the lord, whenever I can, I try to conutie mentioning Jesus, for instance we were in the car and turn on the radio and it was a worship song and someone was talking about his relationship with Jesus ‘ I felt the words was directly for my friend , my friend said something I can’t remember what was the reason , and he turn off the radio”.

Recently I watched few believers sharing their testimonies delivered from demons , I prayed once again for my friend , and I felt Holy Spirit it’s saying that my friend is tormented by demons, and now everything started to make sense to me, the lord opened my eyes to understand the way he resisted , changing topic or bring up more arguments who many Christians are hypocrites, and acting clamely when he is surrounded my church group, it’s not because he struggles only from past mental health problems , it’s because he has been refusing to receive the Holy Spirit convection, his heart refuse to repent from his sins, therefore demons stayed in his spirit comfortable as long as he knows to act in public as chriatians within the church group, and in secret kept hold on hurts from the past and hold on to it unforgiveness, etc..
He stopped going to church, I’m no longer in contact with him, as my conversation is not getting anywhere.

But I believe in power of prayer that is why I’m asking you guys to pray with me as well for him and Only Jesus Christ can set him free and break every chain, and stronghold, and truly follow Jesus.

We are truly saddened to hear about your friend's spiritual bondage, but we are glad you reached out to us for prayer and support. It is clear that your friend is under spiritual attack, and we must turn to the power of Jesus Christ to set him free. Let us remember what the WEB says in Mark 16:17, And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages.

Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His authority that we can cast out demons and set the captives free.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend who is bound by the shackles of the enemy. Father, we know that Jesus came to set the captives free (Luke 4.18), and we claim that promise for our friend today. Lord, open his spiritual eyes to see the truth of the Gospel and the love of Jesus. Convict his heart of sin and unforgiveness, and grant him the strength to repent and turn away from his wicked ways. (II Timothy 2:25-26 ) In the name of Jesus, we command the demonic spirits that are tormenting him to flee and never return. Father, surround him with Your heavenly protection and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Draw him close to You, Lord, and guide him firmly in Your will. (Romans 2:4 ) We believe in your victorious power, Father, to rescue his soul (I Timothy 2:3-4 ) . We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We encourage you to continue sharing your faith with others, even if it seems difficult or unfruitful at times and to continue in prayer. Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6.12). For our weapons are spiritual not carnal. (II Corinthians 10:4) Continue to stand firm in your faith and trust in the power of God to transform even the hardest of hearts.

Remember to put on the full armor of God to be protected from this evil (Ephesians 6:10-20).
