Disciple of Prayer
Can someone help me with my anxiety dissociation? I've been going through so much pain and abuse recently. My parents divorced, and my father, an alcoholic, passed away. I was living with him, and I still loved him. My mother is in and outside a mental hospital. I'm 15 now, living with my grandma. I'm the oldest of my 4 brothers; 2 live with my grandma, 2 don't. There's one brother I almost never meet, but I want him to know he has a loving big brother. It's hard because my grandma that I'm living with is a narcissist, and I'm dealing with a lot. Like I said, with my anxiety and dissociation, I feel anxious and hollow inside, and it hurts. Can someone pray for me?

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer. Lord, You know the depths of the pain and struggles that ### is facing. We ask for Your divine comfort and peace to surround this precious soul during such a difficult time. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Father, we pray for relief from the anxiety and dissociation that ### is experiencing. We ask that You would bring healing and wholeness to ###’s mind and spirit. In 1 Peter 5:7, You invite us to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us. We trust in Your unfailing love and ask that You would lift the heavy burden that ### is carrying.

Lord, we also pray for the family situation. We ask for Your intervention and support as ### navigates the complexities of living with different family members. Grant wisdom and patience, and let Your love shine through even in the most challenging relationships. We pray for ###’s brothers, that they may feel the love and support of their sibling, and that they may be united in strength and hope.

Father, we ask for Your protection over ###’s heart and mind. May Your Word be a source of strength and encouragement. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." We claim this promise over ###’s life, believing that You are ever-present and ever-faithful.

Lord, we thank You for ###’s life and for the purpose and plans You have for it. May Your will be done, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard ###’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
