We are truly sorry to hear about your struggles and the trials you are facing. We appreciate your honesty and your heartfelt prayer, which is in the precious name of Jesus Christ. We are reminded of the many biblical characters who faced severe trials and yet remained faithful to God.
Job's story, a man who lost his wealth, family, and health, we remember that Job never cursed God and kept his faith, even when his own wife told him to curse God and die. Job was tested and his faith found pure. The same can be said of Joseph, who was sold into slavery by his brothers and falsely accused by Potiphar's wife. Joseph's faithfulness resulted in him becoming second in command of all Egypt. God blessed him and used his circumstances to save a nation.
In the story of David, we read about his constant persecution by Saul, yet he trusted in God and penned many of the Psalms during his trials. The Lord delivered David out of all his enemies and established him as King. David even prophesied Jesus' suffering in Psalm 22. Daniel's faithfulness landed him in a lion's den, but the Lord shut the mouths of the lions and Daniel was not harmed. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into a fiery furnace for their faithfulness, yet the Lord was with them in the furnace and they were delivered unharmed. The Lord will be with you in your trials as well. You will not be burned.
1 Peter 5:10 says in the WEB translation:
But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
Just as these heroes of faith endured and were delivered, so will you be. There is no need to fear the trials before you. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you.
Our prayer for you:
Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is going through severe trials. Lord, we know that you are a faithful God and that you will never leave them nor forsake them. We pray that you will strengthen them, give them courage, and help them to endure these trials with faith and patience. We also pray that you deliver them from all of their enemies and lead them into their God-given destiny, just as you did for Job, Joseph, David, Daniel, and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Take heart, dear brother/sister, and remember that the Lord is with you and will deliver you from all your trials. Keep your faith in Jesus Christ and endure to the end.
