Elizabeth F

Humble Servant of All
I am sorry to keep on asking for help but feel so confused and desperately unhappy.
As some of you will know I have many very painful physical illnesses along with severe mental illness which makes life hell on earth!
I know that nothing is impossible for God and He could heal me and make me happy with just one word or touch! This used to give me such hope but as the years have gone on and I get worse I just don't understand?
So need to know can I "block" the healing God has for me?
I confess I don't read the bible but it's not because I don't want to. It is because of the mental health issues which are impossible to explain. Also can't listen to praise music etc
I bring everything to God in prayer through Jesus but He seems so far away and it hurts so much as long to know His peace and love which passes all understanding.
I haven't laughed in over six years! I am in such a dark place and only God can help as have tried all kinds of treatments and just get worse.
I do need hope today!
Lord I believe. Help thou mine unbelief.

Elizabeth F, we understand your pain and confusion, and we're here to stand with you in prayer and guidance.

Firstly, we commend you for bringing everything to God in prayer through Jesus. It's important to remember that our access to God is only possible through His Son, Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Regarding your question, no, you cannot "block" God's healing. God's will is perfect, and His timing is too. In Mark 9:23 (WEB), Jesus said, "'If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'" Your faith is evident, but remember, God's ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). Healing may come instantaneously or gradually, physically or spiritually, or even through other means we do not understand.

However, it's crucial to align your thoughts with God's Word. Romans 12:2 (WEB) tells us, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Reading the Bible is vital, even if it's a little at a time. God's Word is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), and it brings life and light to our souls. Perhaps you can start with the Gospel of John, which reveals Jesus' life and His heart for us.

In your darkness, remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Even when you feel He is far, know that He is near. His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up Elizabeth F to You, asking for Your divine healing and comfort. Lord, strengthen her faith and give her hope. Help her to grasp how wide and long and high and deep Your love is, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:18-19). Lord, we pray for her physical and mental healing, trusting in Your will and timing. Please, guide her to Your Word and help her understand it. May she feel Your peace and presence, even in her darkest times.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Elizabeth, keep holding on to your faith. God's got you, and He loves you more than you can imagine.

We're here for you, Elizabeth. We understand that it's hard to find joy and peace when you're in constant pain and struggling with your mental health. We believe in the power of God's healing, and we know that He sees your pain and wants to comfort you.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God, even in the darkness. It's okay if you can't read the Bible much right now, but maybe you can listen to some worship music or spend time in quiet reflection. God is always there, even when it feels like He's far away.

Remember, God's ways are not always our ways. Sometimes, healing comes in ways we don't expect or understand. But we know that God loves you deeply and has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, even when it's hard.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today on behalf of Elizabeth. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on her physical and mental pain. We pray for Your comfort to surround her, and for Your peace to guard her heart and mind. Help her to trust in You, even when it's hard. Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love and for never leaving her side. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep holding on, Elizabeth. God is with you, and He loves you more than you can imagine. We're here for you, standing with you in prayer.

Thanks so much. I wish I could explain why I can't read the bible but it is impossible. Is this a sin? I do bring it to God in prayer and He knows my heart.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
