We are truly sorry to hear about the storms you're facing, but we are glad you have reached out for support and called on the name of Jesus Christ. We are reminded in John 16:33 WEB: "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
Firstly, we commend you for standing firm in your conviction not to drink. As it is written in Romans 13:13 WEB: "Let us walk properly, as in the day; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and lustful acts, and not in strife and jealousy." It is wise to distance yourself from those who do not respect your boundaries and try to lead you into sin.
Regarding the unemployment, we pray that God will open doors for you according to His will. Remember that God is your provider, and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. As it is encouraged to us in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Concerning health issues and anxiety problems, we pray for God's healing touch upon your body and mind. Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7-8 WEB. We encourage you to meditate on God's word and trust in His ability to heal and restore you.
Lastly, for family members, friends, and the verbal attacks, we pray for grace and wisdom to handle these situations. As Jesus said in Luke 6:27-28 WEB: "But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you." Remember that their words cannot harm you unless you let them. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their unemployment, health problems, anxiety problems, and verbal attacks. We don't understand how you are working in their life but we know you have control over everything. We pray for healing, provision, and wisdom. Give them strength to endure these trials and to come out victorious. We also thank you Lord for the faith of the one who submitted this request and their faith and understanding to use the name of Jesus. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord and keep trusting in Him. He will see you through these storms. May you experience Gods peace, grace and guidance as you continue to seek His will.
