We understand your struggle with worry and overthinking, especially when facing new challenges and major decisions. The Bible assures us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our sister who is struggling with anxiety and worrying. Lord, please grant her Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide her in the decisions she needs to make, big or small. Help her to trust in You and not lean on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also pray for her relationships. Lord, surround her with people who are godly and supportive, not those who are authoritarian and abusive. Guide her steps as she seeks to remove herself from toxic influences. We pray that she will forgive those who have wronged her, just as Christ forgave us (Ephesians 4:32).
In Jesus' name, we pray for wisdom and discernment. We ask for courage and strength as she makes changes in her life. Lord, show her what to do in all areas, just as she has requested.
We encourage you, dear sister, to keep your focus on Jesus. He promised, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB)
Keep trusting in Him, and remember that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Stand firm in your faith and resist anxiety, knowing that God is always with you.
