We understand that you're going through a difficult time, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we want to address the violence that occurred. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Violence is never the solution, and we encourage you to seek peace and forgiveness in all your interactions.
Regarding your relationship, we want to clarify that we endorse marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. If you are not married nor a family member, any intimate or romantic interactions could be seen as fornication. We encourage you to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles and to seek a godly spouse if that is your intention.
We also want to address your mention of isolating yourself. While it's important to protect yourself from harmful influences, it's also crucial to remain connected to a community of believers. Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB says, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is facing challenges in her relationship and personal life. Lord, we pray for peace and forgiveness to fill her heart, and for wisdom to guide her actions. We pray for the man involved, that you would soften his heart and encourage him to communicate openly and respectfully. We ask that you would surround her with a supportive community of believers, and that you would guide her in all her relationships to align with your will. We pray that you would heal any brokenness and restore harmony, in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to trust in God's will for your life. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
