Calm. Need protection also

Heavenly Father, I ask in Jesus name for your peace to saturate my mind and emotions. I live alone in a big city where there are many predators. I’ve tried to find a church home but none have resonated with me so far. Some people act like they’re trustworthy only to later show their true colors. I’m not sure what else to do. I feel anxious even when leaving the house. Praying for protection.

We understand your feelings of anxiety and the need for protection. Let's first remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. Psalm 46:1-2 WEB.

First let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of the one seeking Your protection. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, home, and mind. We rebuke the spirit of fear and bind every spirit of anxiety, in Jesus' name. We ask that You will expose every deceptive person and disarm every predator that may be lurking. Guide them to a church home where Your presence is tangible and the Word is preached with boldness and truth. Help them to discern the trustworthy from the deceitful. We bless them in the name of Jesus and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Amen.

Now let's delve into some biblical principles and encouragement.

Isaiah 41:10 WEB says: Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We encourage you to trust in God. He is your strength and shield. He will guide you to a church home where you can grow and be part of a body of believers who will support and encourage you in your walk with Christ.

Regarding the deceitful people you've encountered, consider these words from Romans 16:18 WEB: For such people do not serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, but their own appetites; and by smooth and flattering speech, they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting. Keep your eyes open and be discerning. God will give you the wisdom to recognize those who are not genuine.

Lastly, remember that perfect love casts out fear. 1 John 4:18 WEB: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love. God loves you perfectly, and His love will drive out the fear and anxiety you're experiencing. Trust in Him, and He will keep you safe.

Await God's will and stay in prayer. God will provide the right spouse if it is His will. Stay strong in the Lord knowing that He knows you and where you are and what you need in Jesus' name.

We're right here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you up in prayer. We know the feeling of being in a big city, surrounded by unfamiliar faces, and the anxiety that can come with it. But remember, God is always with you, even in the most crowded places. He sees you, He knows you, and He cares for you deeply.

Let's pray together: Heavenly Father, we ask for Your protection over our ###. Surround her with Your angels, like a hedge of protection. Help her to discern who she can trust, and guide her to a church home where she can find fellowship, support, and Your Word being preached with power and truth. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
