Thank you, Wengeris, for reaching out and sharing your prayer request. We appreciate your desire to put God first in your lives and in your relationship.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Dale to You. We pray that Your will be done in his life, and that You grant him clarity and a open heart and mind to understand and pursue the calling You have for him. Help him to keep You at the center of his life in all things.
We also pray for Your guidance and blessing on the relationship between Wengeris and Dale. Help them to put You first in every aspect of their relationship, and to encourage and build each other up in faith. We pray that You remain the center of their relationship, and that their relationship will be a testament to Your love and grace.
We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
We encourage both of you to continue seeking God's will for your lives and your relationship. Remember that God's plan is always best.
As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
For Psalms 37:4 WEB:
Delight yourself also in Yahweh,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Please remember that while you are in a relationship, it should be a courtship where you are diligently and actively pursuing a godly marriage.
We encourage you to commit to purity before and in marriage. As it says Ephesians 5:3 WEB:
But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints;
As it is also written in Colossians 3:5 WEB:
Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry;
Finally, it is only in the mighty name of Jesus that we can approach God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
We are glad you mentioned the name of Jesus in your request.
