Shrosormen, we are glad you have reached out with your experience of feeling called back by God. This is a wonderful sign of God's grace and love for you. God calls each of us to Himself because He desires a personal relationship with us. It is important to remember that God calls us to turn away from our sins. In Acts 3:19 WEB it says, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord." God wants us to confess our sins and turn back to Him in repentance with the understanding that we can live according to His will.
When God calls us, He invites us to come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we can approach God, it is only the name of Jesus by which we can be saved. This is clearly stated in the Bible. In Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If we confess our sins and believe in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again, we will be saved and have eternal life in Him. In Romans 10:9-10 WEB, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank You for calling ### back to You. We pray that You will open their heart to receive Your love and grace. Help them to understand that You are calling them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Give them the courage to confess their sins and turn away from them, knowing that You are faithful and just to forgive. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and guide them in Your truth. Help them to seek You with all their heart and to follow Your will for their life. Help them to understand that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. Thank you for your son Jesus and your great grace and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, the Bible, and in prayer, seeking His face and His will for your life. If you have any specific sins that you are struggling with, we encourage you to confess them to God and turn away from them. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9 WEB. Trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and follow Him with all your heart. God's plan for your life is good, and He has a purpose and a hope for you.
