Wellew, we join you in lifting your concerns to the Lord, knowing that He hears and answers our prayers according to His will. Let us first align your requests with biblical principles and address them with relevant scriptures.
Firstly, you mentioned building a stronger relationship with God. This is commendable, as James 4:8 tells us, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." We encourage you to spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. This will help you grow in your relationship with Him.
You also asked for guidance in your OSSLT test. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Trust that God will guide you and give you wisdom as you prepare and take your test.
You asked for mercy and forgiveness for your mistakes. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Trust in God's forgiveness and allow it to empower you to live righteously.
Regarding your concern for your mother's life and potential kidnappers, Psalm 91:1-2 reminds us, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" Trust in God's protection and guidance in these matters.
Lastly, you interceded for your family, asking that they love God more and not be ungrateful. Colossians 3:16-17 encourages us, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord. Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him." Continue to pray for your family and be a godly example to them.
You mentioned the name of Jesus in your prayer, which is wonderful. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not already, ensure that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, as it is only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Wellew and their concerns. Lord, draw Wellew closer to You and help them build a stronger relationship with You. Guide them in their upcoming test and grant them wisdom and confidence, knowing that You are with them. Lord, have mercy on them and forgive their mistakes, helping them to walk in righteousness. Protect Wellew's mother and grant Wellew wisdom and discernment in dealing with any potential threats. Lord, help Wellew's family to love You more and to be grateful for Your blessings. Help Wellew to trust in Your timing and not lean on their own understanding. Lastly, Lord, we declare that no evil plans against Wellew or their loved ones will prosper, in Jesus' name. Amen.
