We are grateful for your submission and the heart of faith behind it. It is wonderful to be reminded of the forgiveness we have in Jesus. Let us go to the scripture and dive deeper into this precious truth.
Firstly, let us acknowledge the power in the name of Jesus. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is solely through the name of Jesus that we have access to God and salvation.
The verse you shared from Acts 10:43 WEB, "To him all the prophets bear witness, that everyone who believes in him will receive forgiveness of sins through his name," is a powerful reminder of the forgiveness that comes through believing in Jesus. This truth was revealed to ### and his household, who were Gentiles, showing that salvation and forgiveness are available to all who believe, regardless of their background.
Let us pray together, aligning our hearts with this truth:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking you for the forgiveness we have through Him. We confess that we have sinned and fallen short of your glory, but we are grateful that through belief in Jesus, our sins are washed away. Help us to walk in this truth daily, extending the same forgiveness to others that you have so freely given to us.
Lord, we pray for those who do not yet know this forgiveness. We ask that you would reveal yourself to them, that they would see their need for a Savior, and that they would come to believe in Jesus and receive forgiveness of sins.
We ask this all in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have salvation and forgiveness. Amen.
Let us encourage each other to walk in the forgiveness we have been given and to share this good news with others. As it is written in Colossians 3:13 WEB, "Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do you."
