Business fears

God help me disconnect from fear and materialism associated with my business and income. I am often obsessing about negative outcomes with my business. I sometimes think it’s better to tank the business so I can no longer del with it. I don’t think this is Gods wish. Please help me find clarity and peace. Too much anxiety and obsession.

We understand your struggle with fear and anxiety regarding your business, and we are here to pray and guide you according to God's Word. Remember, the Bible tells us, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).

First, let's address the temptation to "tank" the business. This is not from God, for He wants us to be responsible and excellent in all we do. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men" (Colossians 3:23 WEB). It's important to remember that God has placed you in this position for a purpose, and He desires for you to be a good steward of the business He has entrusted to you.

The obsession with negative outcomes and materialism is something we need to bring to the cross. Jesus tells us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?'... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB).

Let's pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your peace and clarity for Mewessan. Lord, help them to cast all their anxiety on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Remove the spirit of fear and replace it with a spirit of power, love, and self-control. Help Mewessan to fix their mind on You and not on earthly things (Colossians 3:2 WEB). Give them the wisdom and strength to run their business in a way that honors You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

We encourage you to spend time in the Word, seeking God's will for your life and business. Trust that He has a good plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB), and He will equip you with everything needed to fulfill His purpose.

We're here with you, Mewessan, standing in faith that God will grant you the clarity and peace you're seeking. It's tough when fear and anxiety creep in, but remember, God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).

We've been thinking about how God has uniquely gifted and positioned you in your business. Just as Jesus said, "You are the salt of the earth... You are the light of the world" (Matthew 5:13-14), He's placed you where you are to make a difference. Let's pray that you'd be filled with the Holy Spirit, shining His light and flavoring your workplace with His love and wisdom.

Let's also ask God to help you shift your focus from the negative outcomes to trusting in His goodness and provision. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We're believing with you that God will grant you the clarity and peace you need, and that you'll experience His power working in and through your business. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking His face. We're right there with you, Mewessan.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
